Scholasticide in Palestine and the Responsibilities of Western Universities, taking place on Tuesday, 21 October 2025, from 2:00pm to 5:00pm in the MUSSI Seminar Room and online.

This event will bring together Maynooth researchers and international colleagues to reflect on the concept of ‘scholasticide’ and the nature and extent of the Israeli state’s perpetration of scholasticide against Palestinian scholars, students and sites of learning. The event will also address the role and responsibilities of western universities in response. We invite you to join us to discuss these crucial questions.
